![]() Get your dicks out America… the Dungeons & Dragons rollicking adventure continues. This week they explain the game of D&D, introduce their characters, and embark on their adventure aboard a pleasure cruise. ![]() Welcome to the first episode of NERD POKER: DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS WITH BRIAN POSEHN & FRIENDS! Join Brian Posehn as he engages in a weekly game of D&D with his funny friends Gerry Duggan (co-writer of Marvel’s Deadpool), Blaine Capatch (Comedy Central’s Beat the Geeks), Ken Daly (The Usual Suspects), Sarah Guzzardo (), and Dungeon Master Scott Robison (Mr. You take out the boring part of Sorry.Final episode with the gang, special guests Sark, return of Sarah, and the bard Oswalt Episode Name That's all Tsuro does is follow those lines. The best part of Sorry is landing on that line and hitting another piece. You get the added bonus of picking your two decks to use together so each game can be different combinations. As long as you get the concept for 1 action and 1 minion a turn then you let the cards take control. In Uno the game can play itself and the cards run the game. I personally play more Mage Knight than seasons, so I added it as well :) That's why I picked Seasons, which has a lot of different game ideas and it mashes them together into a beautiful game. The aspect of Cranium I went with was the multiple games/ideas rolled into one game that was easy to learn. Not really original as even the page even compares this game to Scrabble, but so it goes I went with having a hand of tiles and setting them in a pattern to win. Something you could carry in your pocket and whip it out quickly. I went with the portability that a normal deck of cards offers and picked a game along that vein. You get to answer the categories you are best at for the most points. This was literally the game with which we replaced Trivial Pursuit in our household. ![]() Green in the kitchen with the wrench, then you get to see what happens after that reveal.and probably die. As the game progresses you get a new ending scenario. You're moving through rooms and secret passages, which is a fun part of Clue I wanted to keep. There is a lot of strategy involved and you're adding a cool nerd theme. I went with a game that uses figures on a square map where each piece does its' own special thing for heroclix and then expanded it to X-Wing also. I'm horrible at making split second chess choices, so my planning ahead goes with the team building that happens before a game even starts. Chess is big on planning ahead and strategy. I'm going off the reservation on this one a lot. I think this is a good step up as opposed to the 15 steps certain other space games would make. You are moving more complex and cooler looking miniatures. The cards are an important part of deciding the winner in Risk, and in Memoir 44 having the right cards at the right time is crucial. I went with the property ownership and how you can use other's property and they get a small bonus and there is a money management component and a card component I tried to name games that they didn't, just for fun, that I thought also fit the "then you'll like this theme."Įdit: Bragging that I did this while Boardgamegeek was down :) ![]() I like the idea of them doing the suggestions of "If you like this, then you'll like this." I think Tom seemed apprehensive about this list as he kept stating he didn't want to sound elitist and say these are replacements and the other games were bad, but I was able to predict a lot of what Tom, Zee, and Sam would say. ![]() When Tom first announced this on Board Game Breakfast I was excited. ![]()
